It doesn't always have to be America. Roads with the legendary number 66 can also be found in Europe. And those roads can be full of surprises. In this book a pair of travellers set out on a voyage of discovery - this time to Austria, Hungary and Slovakia. They meet a travelling hairdresser, Herr Zotter the king of chocolate and the Höggerl family with their 59 Cadillac on the road between Unterpirkla and Ilz. Between Pécs and Kapsovár they encounter bus drivers, nuns and policemen and are amazed to unearth the dream of a greater Hungary in the tiniest of backwaters. On the road from Sahy to Pusté Pole via Banská Bystrica in the middle of the Low Tatra National Park they come across a sex club at the back of a cemetery, camels and castles, a historic cycle tour and a thundering motorcycle rally. In this volume their journey again takes them on an everyday life adventure.
