The notion of green and Sharing economy has recently become increasingly attractive to policy makers, and environmentally friendly governments and private communities. In line with the popularity of this concept among international and national policy programs and institutions, its usefulness and appropriateness as a pathway to sustainability can be asserted. However, in a green economy and shared economy growth in employment and income are driven by public and private investment into such economic activities, that enhance reduced carbon emissions and pollution, energy and resource efficiency, and prevention of the loss of biodiversity and ecosystem services.
