The book consists of three parts. The first part outlines the evolution of the climate and soil degradation, agricultural tools and techniques. It also outlines the way in which the soil is used, the species of fruit trees and cereals cultivated and the yields of the land. The second part of the paper looks first at the question of the stability of the conditions of property acquisition and agrarian laws.
