The research topic "Perceptions of the importance of the concept of human dignity in law students" touches permanently on human relations and how these are perceived in the social, cultural, educational, political and legal spheres of the community. The current theoretical and practical importance of the concept of "human dignity" is undeniable, as it is an idea that has applications in various areas of human life. It is a notion that can be approached from a wide variety of educational disciplines (as is the case of the social and human sciences), and/or by those who advocate for the defence and promotion of human rights. In this paper we are interested in finding out what is the meaning and importance for students of a concept that runs through their entire personal and professional training, what is its normative relevance, its effectiveness in the legal system from their own experience and whether it is a necessary concept for the legal training given at university.
